We were devastated to announce that the Halloween Artisan Market did not go ahead.
Having deliberated all day long, watching the weather, listening to news and seeing (first hand) rivers bursting their banks and roads flooded all around us, including Colwyn Bay, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel it.
Although the forecast for the day was not as bad, as always in situations like this we consult our traders and listen to their feedback - some of them were already flooded in, many of them had erious concerns about getting there and all of them were worried about how the weather will affect the turn out.
The general consensus among our artisans, entertainers and musicians was to call it off, and we don't want anyone taking unnecessary risks to get to us in these conditions!
We are so desperately sorry to everyone who was looking forward to joining us on what would have been a fantastic day!
We'll see you all on November 18th for the next Colwyn Bay Artisan Market
