**ARTISAN MARKET CANCELLED**
It is with great sadness that we have to announce the Artisan Market at Welsh Mountain Zoo has been cancelled due to strong winds!!
We were mostly set up ready to go but the gusts were so strong and with the wind forecast to get stronger over the next few hours it simply is not safe or viable to have gazebos set up in these conditions.
We are of course devastated and do not make these decisions lightly, but as always, the safety of the public and our traders comes first!
We’re so sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the market and to all our wonderful artisans who have worked so hard in preparation for this day!
The zoo is still very much open and you can still find Lovage and Rosemary & RHOK Crêpes in the car park serving up tasty food, snacks and coffees and you can find Plains of Imagination nestled in a sheltered area near the bears & monkeys!
So if you’re still coming to visit, please show them your support!
Thank you to everyone at the zoo for your help today, we wish you all a great day and so sorry we can’t provide the much anticipated market!

Here you'll find a lovely cafe serving snacks, savouries, cakes, hot drinks,
