We have a little announcement to make...
After a great deal of deliberation, we have sadly decided we can no longer continue the Tuesday Local Market in Colwyn Bay and will instead focus on Saturday as the primary market day in the town. Since taking over the depleting market in early 2020, it's been one hurdle after another!
With the likes of a pandemic, the council offices remaining partly closed creating significantly less lunchtime trade, and now the effects of the high c
It was a jolly old time had by all on Saturday's Artisan Market! There was good old-fashioned seaside fun in an abundance - I think the adults enjoyed the Punch & Judy as much as the kids - and the fabulous live music playing for us all day was the cherry on the cake! With hula hooping, puppets, balloons and an animation workshop there was plenty to keep us entertained and as always the Artisan stalls were an absolute shoppers delight and thanks to those traders who embraced
Well wasn't that a whole load of fun! What a wonderful way to celebrate Easter An abundance of sunshine, shoppers, happy children and incredible arts & crafts made it the perfect mixture for a magical Colwyn Bay market! With an Easter egg hunt, a bubble fairy, basket weaving, face painting, music and street art there was plenty of fun for all ages and the Artisan stalls were a credit to the talent here in North Wales. Huge thanks to every one of you for spending your Easter S

Nothing brings a community together like a market! What a fabulous day we all had, seeing people enjoying their new local market, meeting old friends and shopping from small independent businesses puts a huge smile on our faces! We’ve done interviews on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru and have had a film crew documenting the morning’s set up and market day hoping to make a series on SC4 about Bangor and its High Street! So we feel great things are coming! Huge thank you
Halloween has well and truly begun! We're delighted that so many of you got your freak on and embraced the Halloween theme on our October Artisan Market. There were witches and wolves, ghosts and ghouls filling the streets of Colwyn Bay and the atmosphere was incredible - the freaky fun just did not stop! With fantastic live music all day long, a rollerskating pumpkin making us all laugh, trick or treaters, goodies galore and even a pop up appearance from Ant & Dec (can you s

Such a fun day on Saturday's Artisan Market in Colwyn Bay! What a delight to see Artisans sharing their love of what they do, joyful children covered in chalk, chasing bubbles, families and friends united and enjoying their time together and happy shoppers discovering unique gifts & crafts. The musicians were all fantastic, adding that extra sparkle to the day and some of you even got involved in the fun singing in the 'Street Karaoke' Massive thanks to everyone who came down
So it didn't feel much like August this artisan market day but what we lacked in sunshine, we certainly made up for in spirit as the atmosphere shone brighter than the weather! It was such a fun day with the added entertainment of chalk pavement art and live music and we were delighted to see so many of you come out to shop, drink and take part in the festivities in Colwyn Bay despite the rain and drizzle! So many gorgeous doggies came out to play too, we've added a few of ou
