We have a little announcement to make...
After a great deal of deliberation, we have sadly decided we can no longer continue the Tuesday Local Market in Colwyn Bay and will instead focus on Saturday as the primary market day in the town. Since taking over the depleting market in early 2020, it's been one hurdle after another!
With the likes of a pandemic, the council offices remaining partly closed creating significantly less lunchtime trade, and now the effects of the high c
Nothing brings a community together like a market! What a fabulous day we all had, seeing people enjoying their new local market, meeting old friends and shopping from small independent businesses puts a huge smile on our faces! We’ve done interviews on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru and have had a film crew documenting the morning’s set up and market day hoping to make a series on SC4 about Bangor and its High Street! So we feel great things are coming! Huge thank you
*cyhoeddiad cyffrous!* So, we've been busy working on a new expansion opportunity and we're extremely excited to announce that we are coming to Bangor with our markets! We've been chosen by Bangor City Council to take over the Friday weekly market in the centre of the city, with the option to hold one-off events too, and we cannot wait to bring back the market to its former glory and line the High Street with exciting stalls once again! So there'll be plenty of new opportunit
After the roaring success of our 'Share The Love' giveaway stall a few weeks ago, we're back with more free baby goodies tomorrow on our Colwyn Bay Local Market No donation necessary, but if you feel you'd like to give something back please make a kind donation to any one of the numerous charity shops on or around the market in Colwyn Bay. Also, if you have any baby bits yourself that you would like to pass on, swap or donate, we will be most grateful to add it to our stall a
So Saturday’s Artisan Market was our 1 year anniversary and what a difference a year makes! We launched this time last year with 12 stalls, it was cold, grey and bucketed with rain from beginning to end! One year on and we had 63 stalls, blistering sunshine and nearly 30 degrees heat! We’ve still not been able to put on the kind of event we always intended with live music and entertainment (I think we all know why!) But we’re just so happy that, in this difficult and strange
Well that was a whole lotta fun!! Such a great day was had by all on Saturday’s Artisan Market with giant smiles and bulging shopping bags all round The wood laser workshop proved incredibly popular with plenty of participants taking away their very own personalised gift and Rollergirl ‘Annykinz’ spread the sparkle and giggles with her effervescent spirit and festival fun. We’ll see you all for more of the same in Colwyn Bay on July 17th #colwynbay #colwynbayartisanmarket #co
Well it was a bit of a wet one on the Colwyn Bay Artisan Market yesterday so a massive thank you to all you lovely shoppers who came out and supported our wonderful Artisans in spite of the weather! The feedback from our traders (as always) was that it was a fantastic atmosphere (what a happy bunch you all are) and many of our traders sold out proving that the rain certainly didn’t stop play! Thank you to everyone who took part, purchased and perused, you are the best and thi
What a beautiful day we all had yesterday! Colwyn Bay was well and truly in bloom and the shoppers came out in their droves to enjoy and support the Artisan Market. So many smiles and happy faces, proving just how much we all need each other and thrive on community life. The atmosphere was buzzing and we’re so thankful to everyone who stopped, shopped and shared their wares. Here’s a little teaser of the day, I got a bit carried away with my camera and now have over 600 pics
